    Hi,

How many of you take your baby to Mitsu to get serviced? Mine has just clocked the 45 thousand mark - and Its time for her to go in for a service.

So the question is - is the extra you pay at the dealer worth it? As I dont want to get a shonky mechanic to do 'some' servicing and miss the other...

Mitsu service checks all the things in the service books ( Very GOOD) but

to fix it they charge you heaps.

e.g. tire rotation with cost you around $16 plus where as other places normally include in the service.

If you got a mate who runs his own workshop ask him do it for you and just buy the parts from from mitsu and ask him to also stamp your books as well.

Take it in while its still under warranty.

So far ive had the following changed over under warranty.

    Engine mount,
    Window Wiper motor
    left hand CV joint/boot

and a few other miscellaneous thingos..

All this while they are doing the 'routine' service.
